It's something I just started really developing in college, so I don't know if it's stress related or what, but I'll go through about one or two migraines a semester. It's not fun. They'll knock me out for a couple days and I can't go anywhere without sunglasses. Loud noises are the worst.

This semester, though, I'm only halfway through term and I'm already having my second one, and it's even worse than I'm used to. The lighting in my room is dim, which is nice, but I'm even wearing my sunglasses here. And the headache is making me both tired, yet unable to sleep sometimes.

I've tried even taken Excedrin Migraine, but that only dulls the pain for a bit. It's still always there. My roomie and I have discovered this cold pack to put over the eyes that helps me at least settle down enough to fall asleep at night, even if it doesn't always last as long as I would like.

So, really, I guess the point of this journal is to ask for help. I would really like to find a way to function again and get to all my classes. I'm a junior; I can't really afford to miss a whole lot. At this point, I'm willing to consider almost anything. (Don't tell me to get a shot. It won't happen.) Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

And for those I talk to on a regular basis, this is why you haven't been seeing a whole lot of me. Even my computer screen is too bright half the time. (I know I can dim it, but it'll just be a hassle to put it back later. I'd rather just sleep.) I'm hoping this fades before the weekend, though. I want to be able to hang out with my friends like normal, without flinching at ever sound. But, yeah, anyway...I think I've rambled enough.
